Strategic Road Inauguration Costs Seven Billion Dinars in North of Erbil

A strategic road was opened in Bahreka in the northern city of Erbil on Saturday between the city center and Bahreka area along 13, 5 km at a cost of seven billion dinars, but within the development regions budget of the province.

The governor of Erbil Nawzad Hadi, said “The road is necessary for Bahreka area because the Bahreka area (18 km) north of Erbil, is expanding with the increase in population for being close to the province.”

He added that “This road has allocated seven billion dinars on the development regions budget concerning the province and includes two passages along the 13, 5 km and a perfect lighting.
“Indicating that “this is part of the implementation of the main design plan of the city (master plan) to expand the county as it’s possible to be expanded within the next 20 years and which it connects to the Great Zab and to Pirmam Mountian “.

He said “This road will reduce congestion on the main road between Erbil and Ankawah, as well as lead to reduce the distance between Bahreka and Erbil, as well as it will lead to the development of the economy and to facilitate movement and access to Brante area.”
Erbil is located at a distance of 349 km northeast of Baghdad.
