Iraq to Build More Than 30 Dams

Iraq Ministry of Water Resources said that it has a plan to establish more than 30 dams in Iraq in order to irrigate agricultural land and to provide drinking water for the habitation regions and stressed that these projects will be implemented in the upcoming years because they cost a lot.

The General Director of Dams and water reservoirs committee Faisal Mohammad Amin said that some dams projects are about to be delivered and some others are still in the stage of being studied and planned.
