No Substantial Change in Oil Exports in August

The Deputy of the Iraqi Oil Minister declared that almost two million barrels of Iraqi oil are exported daily and the volume is unlikely to change.

In a statement to AKnews on Thursday Mu’tasam Akram said “in June Iraq sold daily some 1.9m barrels of oil abroad and the number is expected to fluctuate only between 50,000 barrels more or less in August”.

According to the figures published by the website of the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Iraq exported 85.7 barrels of oil in June, valued at $4.335 billion.

“The average price per barrel was US$ 73.83 in June”, the Deputy noted.
