Lebanese Firm Lands Big Housing Project in Maysan

Two investment licenses have been granted to a Lebanese company to establish two residential compounds in the north of Amara, the chairman of the Maysan Investment Commission said on Monday.

“MIC granted an investment license to Lebanon’s Home International Corp. to build 700 housing units in Ali al-Gharbi district, north of Amara, at a cost of 49.980 billion Iraqi dinars [$43m],” Dr. Raed Saai told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“The second investment license has been given to the same company to build 449 housing units in Kamiet district north of Amara, at a cost of 29.702 billion Iraqi dinars [$25m],” al-Saai added.
