Germany’s Bertling Plans Operations in Basra

The German company Bertling met the chairman of the Basra Investment Commission to discuss their plan to establish an project providing logistical support for oil and gas companies in Basra.

A director of the company, Ali Majed Sabah, said ,”the conference that was held in Kuwait Chamber of Commerce recently and our follow up at the BIC’s site were very encouraging factors to enter Basra and present our project”, adding that the project requires a land near the ports of Iraq.

The chairman of BIC expressed his readiness to support the project and to provide all the possible facilities to grant it a license for it is one of the projects that contributes greatly to the development of the oil sector in Basra.

Bertling was also represented at the recent trade expo on Basra.
