Request for Proposal for Implementation of a Community Awareness Campaign for Establishment of Fallujah Maternity and Children Hospital in Fallujah, Iraq
The Government of Japan (GoJ) within the framework of the cooperation programme with the Government of Iraq (GoI) and in its ongoing efforts aiming at assisting Anbar Governorate to reinstate its health services and achieving dividend of peace, the GoJ has entrusted the United Nations Development Programme for Iraq (UNDP) with the implementation of the project “Support to the Establishment of Fallujah Maternity and Children’s Hospital”. The project is designed to rehabilitate and convert the old Fallujah General Hospital in Fallujah City, into a modern Maternity and Children’s Hospital (Fallujah MCH)in line with International Standards, by efficient conversion of the building, rehabilitating and upgrading existing infrastructure facilities, medical facilities and medical equipment.
In parallel, UNDP is interested in maintaining a high level of community awareness to highlight the outputs of the projects and establish a supportive environment toward the ongoing works under the said projects. Under this mandate, UNDP wish to engage the services of reputable Public Sector entities (i.e. Universities or Scientific Institutes …etc), Non-Governmental Organizations or consulting Firms to undertake on the behalf of UNDP the role of the Community Awareness Campaign (CAC) in the cities mentioned hereabove.
