This has got to be the funniest Iraq non-business news… RT (Russian TV) brings an Anti-War Group Democracy activist (no one knows what he wants from the Iraqis) to discuss Iraq’s OIL matters?? This British guy (Mike Raddie) is so clueless about Iraq’s VAST oil industry and he is so confused… But he will not confuse us (the Iraqis)… “We know how much oil we have, we know what we are capable of and we also know what we want”… Iraq is currently exporting 2.4+ million bpd (producing almost 3+ million bpd) from Basrah in the southern region of Iraq (2.3+ mil bpd) and also from Kirkuk in the north of Iraq (700+K bpd) and BOTH are outside the KRG region (which is only producing 170K bpd, 100K of which is for exporting) so the loser in all of this will be the KRG officials and the Kurdish people!! As to building an oil pipeline through Turkey from the KRG region outside the control of the Iraqi central government, this will not make no sense since Turkey continue to attack and send air raids and bomb Kurdistan on a daily basis to thwart off threats from Kurdish separatists who causes Turkey trouble on its southern borders also on a daily basis!!
