Govt Allocates $1.7bn for Importing Electricity

The Iraqi government has decided to increase the fund for importing electricity to $1.7 billion, according to a report from AKnews.

Government spokesperson Ali al-Dabbagh (pictured) said the increase was made following a request from the Ministry of Electricity.
