Video: New Electricity, Gas Deals with Iran

Iran has reached an agreement with Iraq to increase its electricity exports to its western neighbor. Nearly 150 megawatt of electricity is expected to be added to the volume of Iran’s electricity exports.

The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity has also expressed its willingness to import about 25 million cubic meter of Iranian gas for its power plants, every day.

The ministry stated that a 300 million dollar gas pipeline will be completed by the end of this year.
