General Dynamics Wins $65m Iraq Contract

Michigan-based General Dynamics Land Systems has been awarded a $65,292,225 cost-plus-fixed-fee foreign military sales contract for contractor logistic support and training for M1A1 tanks and M88A2 recovery vehicles.

Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received.

Work will be performed in Iraq (85 percent); and Sterling Heights, Michigan (15 percent), with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2017.
