The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for Provision of Upgrade, Reapair and maintenance of Public Announcement (PA) System for the newly constructed buildings at UNAMI Regional Headquarters, Erbil, Iraq. The system should effectively cover the entire compund and making public announcements clearly audible in all areas and buildings within the compund.

UNAMI is intends to award this contract for one year, with an option of extension for additional Four consecutive one year periods at UNAMI’s discretion and also subject to service provider performance which should be satisfactory.

The services shall be provided and executed by a qualified and experienced company based on detailed scope of works, the UN General Conditions of Contracts for provision of Goods and other related documents which will be provided later on by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interest and qualify for the tender. UNDP-Iraq is seeking for a Contractor to provide technical assistance to the Government of Iraq to develop and implement a pilot e-service systems based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based business process design approach to assure fast scaling and quick wins for e-government.

To this respect, a workshop shall be conducted with the targetted parners to transfer the knowledge on architechs SOA-BPM design and implementation principles by the Contractor. The Contractor is also expected to work hand-by-hand with the workshop participants to lead the development and implementation of a targeted quick win applications.

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) requires a full cafeteria services operation to provide nutritious meals daily for its staff members at dining facilities at the UNAMI Regional Headquarters in Basrah, Baghdad International Airport (BIAP) and Kirkuk, Iraq for a long-term contract (5X1 Year), extendable on yearly basis, subject to extension of UNAMI mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance by the prospective contractor (s).

UNAMI intends to secure the non-exclusive services of a professional contractor to manage and operate cafeteria services including the on-site preparation and line service of breakfast, lunch, dinner and a midnight meal seven days a week, 365 days a year, on a regular basis.

UNAMI intends to award the contract for one year anticipated to commence on 1 June 2012, with the option of extension for an additional four years (one year at a time) at the discretion of UNAMI. This contract will be awarded to the proposer that clearly demonstrates through a written proposal a high degree of experience, ability and competence in best-practice cafeteria management in an effort to support and maintain the health and wellbeing of UN staff serving in Basrah, Baghdad International Airport (BIAP) and Kirkuk, Iraq.
