$5m Training Centre Proposed for Basra

A delegation from Al-Rahmani Group visited Basra Investment Commission (BIC) and presented a plan to construct a technical training centre in a cost of $5 million [6 billion Iraqi dinars].

The executive chairman of the group, Eng. Raid Al-Rahmani, said, "our plan includes the construction of a training centre to develop the local working staff to become acquainted with modern technical programs used in the major global companies".

The chairman of the BIC, Eng. Haider Ali Fadhil, expressed his readiness to provide all the facilities to complete this project for it will participate in developing and training the local workforce to be able to work with international foreign companies, thus illuminating the need for foreign employment. He also asked the delegation to present an integrated study for the project.
