Hermes Datacommunications Middle East, a key specialist providing Wide Area Network communications to the upstream oil and gas industry has secured a contract to provide Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) communications to Expro North Sea Ltd in Iraq.
The contract outlined will include a fully managed VSAT network, bandwidth, equipment, installation and support to The Expro Group for a period of 36 months.
Hermes Datacomms will provide one point to point SCPC link from the Hermes Datacomms Hub in Shrewsbury to the Expro Group BHI site in Iraq. The SCPC Circuit will consist of 512Kbps download and 512Kbps upload at their BHI base. The Expro Group will be adding more sites as they expand their presence in Iraq.
Included in this contract is the allocation of a dedicated Account Manager, Bill des Rosiers who is Regional Business Development Manager, Middle East. To facilitate this win and other recent contract successes, Hermes Datacomms Middle East has recently expanded their team even further, with the appointment of two additional Help Desk Representatives; Lorrey Dianne P. Chiong and Alita Briones, and two Engineers; Teddy Folloso and Jamshad Ali.
