Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced on Friday that it has been awarded three contracts to provide project management and construction management services for various clients in Iraq.
The three contracts, which have a total estimated value to Hill of approximately $15.0 million, include the following:
- a contract from the Iraqi Ministry of Construction and Housing to provide project management services in connection with multiple projects throughout Iraq;
- a contract from the Iraqi Political Prisoners Foundation to provide project management services in connection with the 4,000-unit, $240 million Al Ahrar housing development in Baghdad; and
- a contract from the Governate of Baghdad to provide project management services in connection with a $65 million sewage treatment program in the Al Jisr region of Baghdad.
“Rebuilding Iraq’s facilities and infrastructure is the first step in rebuilding its economy,” said Mohammed Al Rais, Senior Vice President and Managing Director (Middle East) for Hill’s Project Management Group. “We are honored to have been chosen for each of these important assignments,” added Al Rais.
