Northrop Grumman has reportedly won contracts worth $115 million to provide AN/APG-68 (V)9 radar systems (pictured) for Iraq and the Royal Thai Air Force.
Twenty-two of the 38 systems, an upgrade targeting system for F-16 fighter jets, are destined for Iraq.
Capital Gazette reports that the contract was awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, and that the company will receive a $51 million payment immediately.
The work is expected to be completed by 20th December 2017.
