A contract has been signed for the export of Super Mushshak Aircraft from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) to Iraq Air Force (IAF). The ceremony was held at the Prime Minister House, Islamabad and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, HE Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, presided the ceremony.
The contract for the Super Mushshak Aircraft was signed by General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force & Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Kamra.
Higher officials from Iraqi side including General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force, General Jabbar Ubaid Kadhum, Commander Iraqi Air Defence and HE Dr Rushdi Mahmood Rasheed, Ambassador, Embassy of Iraq graced the ceremony by their attendance.
Higher officials from Pakistan included Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Defence Production, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, Lt General (R) Tanvir Tahir, Secretary MoDP, Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Kamra Maj General Raza Muhammad, Additional Secretary MoDP, and Air Vice Marshal Nudrat Kazmi.
During the last five years, PAC aviation products have attracted various foreign customers during IDEAS, Dubai Air Show and African Aerospace Defence Exhibitions. In this context, a number of queries were received for production and delivery of Super Mushshak aircraft from foreign and local organizations.
The sale of Super Mushshak Aircraft to Iraqi Air Force is a major milestone in the export of aviation products of Pakistan. The sale of Super Mushshak Aircraft will also be supported by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra in terms of technical and logistics support. The export of Super Mushshak aircraft would further open new avenue for export of other aviation product to foreign countries.
