Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office on Sunday the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting they discussed strengthening of relations between the two countries in various fields and the war on Daesh terrorist gangs and the situation in the region and the challenges faced by the country.
Dr. Al-Abadi said that Iraq achieves victories against Daesh gangs and nears the liberation of Mosul and every inch of the land of Iraq.
In turn Mr. Larijani congratulated the victories achieved against Daesh gangs, which have begun to lead to the defeat of Daehs and its retreat.
He reiterated his country's full support and all its institutions to Iraq and the government of Dr. Al-Abadi in its war against terrorism and in various fields.
