The new Croatian Ambassador to Iraq Mr Ivan Jurić has met with the KRG Foreign Minister Falah Mustafa, as part of his introductory visit to the Kurdistan Region.
Minister Mustafa congratulated the Croatian Ambassador on his appointment, expressing the readiness of the Kurdistan Regional Government to provide necessary support for the success of his mission.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the existing cooperation between Erbil and Zagreb, and expressed the desire of their governments to further consolidate ties, particularly in the fields of economy, investment and agriculture.
The Ambassador spoke of the interest of Croatian companies to come and invest in the Kurdistan Region in different fields.
Ambassador Jurić highly spoke of the role of Peshmerga forces in the war on terror and reiterated that his government will continue supporting Kurdistan Region at both military and humanitarian levels.
