The Malaysian government has decided to open an embassy in Baghdad.
At a meeting with Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, on Wednesday, Malaysian Foreign Minister Zambri Abdul Qadir confirmed the decision, and emphasised Malaysia's support for Iraq.
Minister Hussain welcomed the decision and said that Iraq will provide all means of support for embassy's work.
