Iraq Stock Exchange

  • The ISC approved the request of Asiacell (TASC) for an additional extension period of 60 days, from the end of the period specified in the law (5/31/2024), to submit its 2023 annual financial statements.
  • ISX suspended the trading of the following bonds (Emaar Bond / 3rd issue / IQD0.5 mn (CB45); Emaar Bond / 3rd issue / IQD1.0 mn (CB50)), starting on Jun. 25, 2024, due to the maturity of their semi-annual interest.
  • Subscription to 20% rights issue of Ameen Al-Iraq Islamic Bank (BAME) to reach IQD300.0 bn capital ended on Jun. 13.
  • The ISC has approved the request of Al Masherq Al-Arabi Islamic Bank (BAMS) to have a four-month extension period to add the new shares from the capital increase through a 20% rights issue to IQD300.0 bn starting from Jun. 11, 2024.
  • Cihan Bank for Islamic & Finance (BCIH) invited its shareholders to subscribe to 50.0 bn shares starting Jun. 27 from the capital increase to IQD355.0 bn through a 16.4% rights issue. The subscription period is no less than 30 days and no more than 60 days.
  • National Household Furniture Industry (IHFI) has completed the legal procedures for the capital increase through a 100% rights issue to IQD3.32 bn.

  • New shares of Al Janoob Islamic Bank (BJAB) from the capital increase through a 104% rights issue to IQD510.0 bn resumed trading on Jun. 23.

Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:

  • ISX suspended trading of Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance (NGIR) starting Jun. 24 due to the AGM that will be held on Jun. 30 to discuss and approve electing five original and five alternative board members if the general assembly approves reducing the number of board members from seven to five.
  • ISX suspended trading of Tourist Village of Mosul Dam (HTVM) starting Jun. 24 due to the AGM that will be held on Jun. 28 to discuss and approve 2023 annual financial statements.
  • ISX suspended trading of AHliya For Insurance (NAHF) starting Jun. 27 due to the AGM that will be held on Jul. 2 to discuss and approve 2022 annual financial statements, increasing the paid-in capital from IQD7.0 bn to IQD15.0 bn through 114.3% rights issue, and electing five original and five alternative board members.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Iraqi for Tufted Carpets (IITC) starting Jul. 9 due to the AGM that will be held on Jul. 14 to discuss and approve 2023 annual financial statements and dividend distribution.
  • ISX will suspend trading of National Chemical & Plastic Industries (INCP) starting Jul. 18 due to the AGM that will be held on Jul. 23 to discuss and approve 2022 annual financial statements.
