In a move to enhance the capabilities of its security forces, the Iraqi government has approved a budget allocation of 12 billion dinars [$9 million] from the emergency reserve fund.
The funds will be used to complete the construction of three coast guard patrol vessels.
This initiative aims to strengthen Iraq's maritime security and defense infrastructure.
