Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, met with Japan's Ambassador to Iraq, Akira Endo, at the Ministry's headquarters on 25th March to discuss strengthening bilateral relations.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed for a Japanese grant project provided by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), aimed at enhancing display, preservation, and restoration equipment at the Sulaymaniyah Museum.
Ambassador Endo reiterated Japan's commitment to supporting Iraq's development, while Minister Hussein emphasised the importance of effective project implementation in coordination with relevant authorities.
