Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani, met with Iranian Minister of Oil, Mr. Mohsen Bakhtiar, on Monday to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Iran.
During the meeting, both sides discussed mechanisms for collaboration across various sectors, resulting in the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements in areas such as knowledge exchange and joint efforts that benefit both nations.
Minister Abdul Ghani highlighted Iraq's promising gas investment projects and its ongoing efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in oil derivatives.
Minister Bakhtiar expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and his appreciation for the deep cultural ties between the two countries. He also underscored the importance of continuing relations across all fields.
