The Chairman of Iraq's National Investment Commission (NIC), Dr. Haider Mohammed Makiyya, announced the restart of 503 investment projects across the country, as part of a national plan to stimulate the economy.
These projects, valued at over $12 billion, are part of 855 projects that have been stalled for the past two years, and their resumption aims to enhance economic returns, create jobs, and improve efficiency in housing, industry, and services, according to a statement from the NIC.
