Iraq Stock Exchange

  • A cross transaction occurred on 3.0 bn shares of Al Taif Islamic Bank (BTIB) on May 26, valued at IQD2.97 bn and corresponding to 1.2% of BTIB's capital.
  • Iraqi Date Processing and Marketing (IIDP) invited its shareholders who did not receive their cash dividends for the previous fiscal years to go to the company's HQ in order to receive them.
  • The ISC approved the request of Iraqi Agricultural Products (AIRP) and Al-Mansour Hotels (HMAN) for an additional extension period of 1 year to submit their 2024 annual financial statements.
  • ISX suspended trading of the second issuance of Emaar bonds starting on May 25, 2025, due to distributing semi-annual interest.

Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:

  • Asiacell (TASC) resumed trading on May 26 after holding its AGM on May 24 in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements and decided to distribute IQD1.5 cash dividend per share, corresponding to an 11.5% dividend yield.
  • Original shares of Ameen Al-Iraq Islamic Bank (BAME) resumed trading on May 27 after holding its AGM on May 19 in which they discussed and approved increasing the paid-in capital from IQD250.0 bn to IQD400.0 bn through a 60.0% rights issue.
  • Gulf Commercial Bank (BGUC) resumed trading on May 28 after holding its AGM on May 23 in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements and the agreement prepared between BGUC and the Arab Jordan Investment Bank, which includes providing administrative consulting.
  • Metallic & Bicycles Industries (IMIB) resumed trading on May 28 after holding its postponed AGM on May 11 in which they discussed and approved 2021, 2022, and 2023 annual financial statements and electing four original and two alternative board members.
  • Modern Chemical Industries (IMCI) resumed trading on May 29 after holding its AGM on May 13 in which they discussed and approved the investment contract for a land for a company in Baghdad Governorate, and electing five original and four alternative board members.

Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:

  • ISX will suspend trading of Baghdad Soft Drinks (IBSD) starting Jun. 25 due to the AGM that will be held on Jun. 30 to discuss and approve the 2024 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and the authorization of the company's board of directors to import and install new production lines.
