Bulgaria Approves Agricultural MoU with Iraq

The Bulgarian government has reportedly approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Bulgaria's Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Iraq's Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), the agreement, signed during the official visit of Iraqi Agriculture Minister Abbas Jabir Al-Maliki to Sofia, aims to deepen bilateral cooperation in agriculture and food production. It outlines joint activities such as seminars, training programmes, knowledge exchange, and technology transfer.

It says the key focus areas include innovations in crop and livestock farming, fisheries, aquaculture, and strengthening technical and administrative capacity in both countries.
