Iraq's Power Conundrum
This paper aims to unpack Iraq's power conundrum first by reviewing the deficiencies of its power grid and the long-term demand drivers that need to be taken into consideration; and then argues that the above solutions should be built upon to become interconnected parts of an integrated overall long-term strategy, in other words a multifactorial approach and not the current scattershot set of solutions.
An upcoming companion paper will take a deeper dive into a subset of the current analysis.
