The meeting resulted in the signing of an agreement and seven memoranda of understanding covering:
- Development of trade exchanges and export growth
- Cooperation in organising international and specialised exhibitions
- Land transport of passengers and goods
- Investment cooperation
- Mutual recognition of maritime competency certificates for seafarers
- Exchange of technical and scientific expertise
Al-Ghurairi stressed Iraq's commitment to deepening cooperation with Lebanon and expanding partnerships across economic, trade, and investment sectors. He described the session as a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations, noting that the signing of the minutes and MoUs reflects the determination of both sides to move quickly to implementation.
