Citi Pharma Limited of Pakistan has announced plans to open a new pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Iraq, marking a significant step in its regional expansion strategy.
During a recent visit to Iraq, Citi Pharma's CEO, Rizwan Sheikh, met with Iraqi Minister of Health, Dr. Salih al-Hasnawi, to reinforce the company's commitment to strengthening healthcare collaboration.
Iraq's pharmaceutical market is currently valued at around $5 billion. Citi Pharma aims to capture $1 billion of this market over the next decade through innovation, quality production, and improved accessibility.
