Kurdistan Region Spends $203m on Water Infrastructure

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has said major progress has been made in modernising the Region's water infrastructure.

Nine dams have been completed at a total cost of about IQD 266 billion [$203 million], providing a combined storage capacity of around 253 million cubic metres of water.

The KRG has also completed 23 ponds, with construction underway on an additional 58.
