India-based Apollo Hospitals has reportedly signed a strategic partnership agreement with Iraq's Ministry of Interior to assume management of the Internal Security Force Hospital.
According to India Pharma Outlook, the collaboration aims to deliver advanced medical services and specialised care for Iraq's internal security personnel and their families.
Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Founder-Chairman of Apollo Hospitals, is quoted as saying:
"This pact brings us back to our primary focus of sharing the technological advancements of Indian healthcare with the rest of the world, thus, delivering Iraq's security forces the gift of life and consolation."
