Shams Telecom has signed a memorandum of understanding with GlobalTek to cooperate on solar energy and related technology projects in Iraq.
The agreement covers collaboration on clean energy solutions, with a focus on solar power, and on providing technology and infrastructure services for the telecommunications and energy sectors.
The Baghdad-based companies said the partnership forms part of their respective expansion strategies in the Iraqi market, targeting both public and private sector clients.
Under the MoU, the two firms will explore joint projects aimed at improving energy efficiency, integrating renewable power solutions and supporting the development of modern infrastructure in Iraq.
