Iraqi security forces have shot down a locally manufactured drone that was flying near Mosul Dam at 20:00 on Monday.
According to a statement from the Joint Operations Command, the drone was intercepted and brought down without reported damage to the site.
The command said security units continue to implement measures to protect vital installations, prevent sabotage and safeguard public interests.
