The Iraqi government has approved annual allocations of IQD 100 billion (USD 76.3 million) for each province covered by the Reconstruction Fund for the Most Impoverished Areas.
The funding applies to five provinces:
- Basra
- Babil
- Diwaniyah
- Muthanna
- Najaf
The allocations form part of ongoing efforts to support development and improve economic conditions in lower-income regions.
