Baghdad Metro: IDF Requires Clarification before Project can Start

A Roadmap for the Baghdad Metro Project

The Iraq Development Fund (IDF) has identified 34 points that must be studied before the Baghdad Metro project is launched, stressing that these points are essential prerequisites before moving to the implementation phase.

The Fund's Executive Director, Mohammed al-Najjar (pictured), told Al-Sabaah that "the project was announced prematurely, before the required studies had been completed, and a roadmap must be drawn up for it." He noted that "the Fund identified 34 points that should have been studied before the project was launched or announced."
