UAE-based oilfield services company Lamprell has established a new office in Basra, expanding its presence in Iraq.
According to a statement from the company, the move follows a series of engagements with clients and stakeholders in the country over the past year, and reflects the company's long-term commitment to supporting Iraq's energy sector with local capability, technical expertise and project delivery experience.
The company said it is recruiting in-country personnel to support local operations, with the Iraq market supporting its wider activities including its onshore EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) business.
