The Ministry of Trade has launched official channels for reporting corruption cases within its departments, to be overseen directly by the Minister.
According to the Ministry of Trade, citizens and staff are being encouraged to submit reports backed by documents or evidence of corruption or the waste of public funds, via a dedicated email address linked exclusively to the Minister's office to ensure confidentiality and swift follow-up.
The Minister, Mustafa Nizar Jumaa, said all reports would be treated with complete confidentiality and would be personally followed up before being referred to the relevant authorities for legal action against anyone found to be involved.
The move follows directives from Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi aimed at strengthening integrity, combating corruption, and recovering public funds.
- Reports can be submitted via [email protected]
- Confidentiality and legal protection guaranteed for whistleblowers
- Reports followed up directly by the Minister's office
