Iraq Stock Exchange

  • A cross transaction will occur on 3.9 bn shares of National Bank of Iraq (BNOI) on Jul. 7, valued at IQD3.9 bn and corresponding to 0.6% of BNOI's capital. The buyer was Amwaj International, and the seller was Namir Karim Abdul Hassan Al-Aqabi.
  • Economy Bank (BEFI) invited its shareholders to subscribe to 50.0 bn shares starting Jul. 13 from the capital increase to IQD350.0 bn through a 17.2% rights issue and a 3.1% bonus issue. The subscription period is no less than 30 days and no more than 60 days.
  • Rajih Islamic Bank for Investment (BRAJ) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2024, starting Jul.5. The company decided in its recent AGM (December 31, 2025) to distribute IQD0.046 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.6% dividend yield.
  • Al Masherq Al-Arabi Islamic Bank (BAMS) has completed the legal procedures for the capital increase through a 2.21% rights issue (56/Fourth) to IQD300.0 bn.
  • Baghdad Soft Drinks (IBSD) decided in its AGM held on Jul. 7 to distribute IQD0.40 cash dividend per share corresponding to a 5.95% dividend yield.

  • Ibdaa Al-Sharq Al-Awsat General Contract (SIBD) resumed trading on Jul. 5 after holding its AGM on Jun. 15, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, the merger of Al-Ittihad Middle East Company for General Contracting with SIBD, and electing five original and four alternative board members.
  • Al-Mansour Hotels (HMAN) resumed trading on Jul. 7 after holding its AGM on Jun. 30, in which they discussed and approved the proposals submitted for the investment of the hotel and the adjacent land plot. They also approved awarding the investment of Al-Mansour Hotel and the adjacent land plot to a consortium comprising Amwaj International Company, National Bank of Iraq, and Aali Al-Sharq Company.

  • ISX will suspend trading of Cihan Bank (BCIH) starting Jul. 21 due to the AGM that will be held on Jul. 24 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, and dividend distribution.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Iraqi Agricultural Products (AIRP) starting July 27 due to the AGM that will be held on July 30 to discuss and approve the sale of a real estate plot and the acquisition of a new property to replace it.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Credit Bank of Iraq (BROI) starting Jul. 27 due to the AGM that will be held on Jul. 30 to discuss and approve the 2025 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and capital increase.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Al-Ataa Islamic Bank (BLAD) starting Aug. 4 due to the AGM that will be held on Aug. 10 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and electing nine original and nine alternative board members.
  • ISX suspended trading of Zain Insurance Company (NZAI) (OTC) starting Jul. 20 due to the AGM that will be held on Jul. 20 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, and dividend distribution.
