Iraq Stock Exchange
- Two cross transactions occurred on 24.7 bn shares of Al-Qabedh Islamic Bank for Finance and Investment (BQAB), valued at IQD1.73 bn, in this week, corresponding to 9.9% of BQAB's capital.
- Credit Bank of Iraq (BROI) completed the legal procedures for amending Article (Fifth) of its articles of association, increasing the bank's capital from IQD346.87 bn to IQD367.87 bn through a 6.05% bonus issue.
- A $25 million trade finance facility has been extended to Bank of Baghdad (BBOB) under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)'s Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP). According to the EBRD, the facility will support Bank of Baghdad in increasing its import and export transactions, expanding its correspondent banking network, and improving access to trade finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in cross-border trade. - According to the ISC decision on Sep. 20, ISX transferred the trading of Union Bank (BUOI) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the Regular Market starting Sep. 21, after the bank submitted its 2025 annual financial statements and paid the due fine.
- Iraqi Date Processing and Marketing (IIDP) disclosed that there are no material events at the company that could have led to the decline of its share price during the Sep. 20 and Sep. 21 sessions.
- The AGM of Iraqi for Tufted Carpets (IITC), which was scheduled for Sep. 16, was postponed to Sep. 23 at the same time and place, due to the lack of the legal quorum.
- The ISC board decided in its eighth session held on Aug. 30 to amend Regulation No. (23) of the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM), limiting a company's stay on the market to one year from the date of the decision to transfer it, after which its trading is suspended if it fails to submit the required disclosures, until it meets the financial disclosure requirements. The ISC also gave the companies quoted on the market a final deadline until Dec. 31, 2026 to complete their procedures and submit the required disclosures: Electronic Industries (IELI), The Light and Mining Ind. (ITLI), AL-Badia for General Trans. (SBAG), Modern Construction Mat. (IMCM), Palestine Hotel (HPAL), Iraqi for General Transp. (SIGT), Nat. Chem. & Plastic Ind. (INCP), and Iraqi for Seed Production (AISP).
- The shares of First Iraqi Bank Islamic Investment and Finance (BFIB), with a capital of IQD400.0 bn, will become available for deposit starting Sep. 24 on ISX's Regular Market. Trading will start after 5% of the bank's shares are deposited or 21 days pass from the deposit start date, i.e. from Oct. 15.
- ISX issued the tickers and International Securities Identification Numbers (ISINs) for the shares of seven insurance companies on the ISX-OTC market, enabling the shares to be identified and traded under their respective codes: Iraqi Takaful Company for Islamic Takaful Insurance (NTKF) with a capital of IQD5.0 bn, Al Wadaq Insurance (NWDQ) with a capital of IQD15.0 bn, Almurtakaz Insurance Company (NMUR) with a capital of IQD15.0 bn, UR International Insurance Company (NAUR) with a capital of IQD5.0 bn, Arab Assurers Insurance Company (NAAI) with a capital of IQD15.0 bn, Al Ettihad Iraqi Insurance Company (NETI) with a capital of IQD5.0 bn, and Al-Qabas Company for Insurance (NQAB) with a capital of IQD15.0 bn. All seven companies are quoted in the insurance sector.
- The subscription for the 66.33 bn new shares of Hammurabi Commercial Bank (BHAM) (OTC), from the capital increase from IQD201.0 bn to IQD267.33 bn through a 33.0% rights issue, started on Sep. 22 at IQD1 per share.
- Al-Khair Insurance (NKHA) started trading on Sep. 22 on the ISX-OTC market, with a capital of IQD5.0 bn, after completing the share deposit period that began on Sep. 1.
- The shares of Global Insurance Company (NGLO), with a capital of IQD18.0 bn, became available for deposit starting Sep. 22 on the ISX-OTC market. Trading will start after 5% of the company's shares are deposited or 21 days pass from the deposit start date, i.e. from Oct. 13.
- The shares of Al-Qabas Company for Insurance (NQAB), with a capital of IQD15.0 bn, became available for deposit starting Sep. 22 on the ISX-OTC market. Trading will start after 5% of the company's shares are deposited or 21 days pass from the deposit start date, i.e. from Oct. 13.
Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:
- Original shares of Al-Qurtas Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance (BQUR) resumed trading on Sep. 22 after holding its AGM on Sep. 18, in which they discussed and approved increasing the capital through a 20.0% (56/Fourth - through external cash funded) from IQD250.0 bn to IQD300.0 bn.
- Original shares of Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance (NGIR) resumed trading on Sep. 23 after holding its AGM on Sep. 13, in which they discussed and approved the 2025 annual financial statements and increasing the capital from IQD7.0 bn to IQD8.0 bn through a 14.3% rights issue.
- Modern Sewing (IMOS) resumed trading on Sep. 23 after holding its AGM on Sep. 21, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements and decided to distribute an IQD0.35 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.5% dividend yield.
- Iraqi For Tufted Carpets (IITC) will resume trading on Sep. 27 after holding its postponed AGM on Sep. 23, in which they discussed and approved the 2025 annual financial statements and decided to distribute an IQD0.9 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 3.9% dividend yield. The opening price will be IQD21.990 per share.
- Asia Al Iraq Islamic Bank (BAIB) will resume trading on Sep. 27 after holding its AGM on Sep. 17, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements and the merger with Al Mal Islamic Bank (BMAL).

- ISX suspended trading of Al-Sadeer Hotel (HSAD) starting Sep. 21 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 24 to elect four original and four alternative board members.
- ISX suspended trading of Al Janoob Islamic Bank (BJAB) starting Sep. 22 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 27 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, increasing the board members from seven to nine, and electing nine original and nine alternative board members.
- ISX suspended trading of Baghdad for Packing Materials (IBPM) starting Sep. 22 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 27 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements and electing five original and five alternative board members.
- ISX will suspend trading of Kurdistan International Islamic Bank (BKUI) starting Oct. 6 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 10 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, and dividend distribution.
- ISX will suspend trading of Iraqi Agricultural Prod. Mark. Meat (AIPM) starting Oct. 6 due to the AGM that will be held on Oct. 11 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, and dividend distribution.
