Showrooms for Chinese Construction Materials Planned in Iraq

Plans for a network of specialist trade showrooms selling Chinese construction materials in Baghdad and across Iraq's provinces are under discussion.

According to the Ministry of Transport, a Chinese delegation met with the director-general of the General Company for Trading in Construction Materials, Engineer Areej Hussein al-Jumaili, to explore the project.

Talks covered implementation mechanisms, technical and commercial requirements, and ways to develop the showrooms to meet the needs of Chinese companies and local consumers. The company said the initiative aims to diversify sources of construction materials and offer competitively priced, high-quality products to citizens and project owners.
