A French-based Iraqi engineer has launched an interactive educational platform built on the official Iraqi curriculum.
ManarWay offers an AI tutor, 3D virtual labs, and on-the-spot practice correction, and is designed to run on a student's smartphone without additional hardware.
Key features of the platform include:
- Curriculum alignment: built on the official Iraqi national curriculum for primary and secondary students
- Mobile-first: operates on the student's existing phone, with no laboratory or additional device required
- Teacher support: provides individual practice and follow-up for each student alongside the teacher
- National reach: aims to give students in remote districts access to the same content as those in Baghdad
Founder and CEO Riadh Al Zubaidi told Iraq Business News that the platform was launched in early October and has attracted more than 500 student sign-ups so far, adding:
"We started with English. By turning the Iraqi curriculum from static to interactive, fun and engaging, students no longer learn and forget after the exam. They build on what they learn: they speak the language, understand it, and do the labs most of their schools do not have."
