Pakistan’s Lucky Cement has reported that the first phase of the brown-field expansion of its cement grinding unit in Iraq is expected to come online by October 2017.
It will hava a capacity of 0.4355 million tons per annum, representing half of the planned 0.871-million-ton expansion.
The second half the expansion is expected to come online by the end of November 2017.
The project will double capacity to 1.742 million tons per annum.
