US-based Firm to advise Iraqi Political Party

Prime Policy Group, which describes itself as "one of the first bipartisan government relations firms in Washington", has entered an agreement to provide professional services to the Erbil-based Arab Project Party.

The firm, which is wholly owned by the UK-based multinational communications company WPP plc, will provide "election program support", with the aim of, "correct[ing] the course of the democratic process in Iraq by eradicating corruption, establishing the concept of citizenship as a foundation for belonging, and building a new understanding of the relationship between the people and the government."

The initial term of the agreement is from 15th July 2023 to 14th December 2023, for which the firm will receive $300,000 plus expenses.

According to documents filed under the US's Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), the company will engage with Dr. Mustafa Mutlag Al-Kubaisi, President of Arab Project Party.
