Name: Jabal Sanam (also known as Jebel Sinam, Jebel Sanam)
Controlled by: Ministry of Oil (Baghdad).
Location: This block is situated within Basra Governorate adjacent to Iraqi-Kuwaiti international border, with area of 235 km². One structural nose identified in the block, namely : Jabal Sanam, which is shared with Kuwait.
Discovery: One exploration well has been drilled in the block. Initial assessment suggested that the block holds oil accumulations.

Contract granted: Fifth-plus licensing round, May 2024. (Had previously been offered, but not awarded, in the fifth licensing round in April 2018.)
