The European Union Mission in Baghdad has held a conference focused on empowering youth and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
According to a statement from the Ministry of Trade's media office, the conference saw broad participation from Iraqi youth, including students, entrepreneurs, and activists.
The statement highlighted the Ministry of Trade's readiness to support young people and their commercial and industrial projects to bolster the Iraqi economy and promote sustainable development.
The EU provides support and technical assistance through various programs, including the SAFI project, which aids youth, SMEs, and the agricultural sector, and supports Iraq's accession to the World Trade Organization.
