By John Lee.

The Iraqi Ministry of Transport has announced the release of salaries for employees of the company responsible for security at Baghdad International Airport (BIAP) for the second consecutive month, following directives from the Council of Ministers and under the supervision of Minister Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi.

According to a statement from the Ministry's media office, Minister Al-Saadawi directed the payment of salaries to Biznis Intel employees, in line with Council of Ministers' Decision No. 24389. The General Company for Airports and Air Navigation began the salary disbursement process.

The ministry emphasized its commitment to maintaining airport security and ensuring the comfort and safety of travelers. Dr. Abbas Al-Baydhani, Director General of the General Company for Airports and Air Navigation, stated that this measure is a temporary solution until the government finds more comprehensive and permanent solutions.

An Iraqi MP has been among those raising concerns about the matter.
