Iraqi Airways has renewed its partnership agreement with IT service provider SITA, to modernize its passenger handling systems and stay aligned with technological advancements.
Following directives from the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, the national carrier will implement the SITA Flex Hybrid system to enhance passenger experience and service efficiency.
The agreement also includes updating the flight information display system and the SITA Bag Manager Online system, enabling real-time tracking of baggage throughout the journey.
Iraqi Airways' General Manager, Eng. Manaf Abdul Muneem, emphasized that these updates will strategically reduce operating costs, enhance communication services, streamline operations, and improve overall passenger experience.
Hani El-Assaad, SITA President for the Middle East and Africa, expressed satisfaction in collaborating with Iraqi Airways, recognizing the airline's commitment to innovation in the aviation sector.
