Iraq's National Data Center, in collaboration with the National Insurance Company, has introduced a digital marine insurance service through the Ur electronic portal.
According to the Iraqi Cabinet, the platform enables customers to obtain marine insurance policies quickly and securely.
The service offers three types of insurance policies based on institutional conditions (A, B, C), covering a wide range of risks, including loading and unloading damages, accidents such as fires and explosions, and other transportation-related incidents.
This initiative is part of the National Data Center's efforts to provide advanced digital solutions for safe and efficient access to government services.
Customers can find detailed guidance on the service, application steps, and FAQs on the portal. A toll-free helpline (5599) is available daily from 8 a.m. to midnight for support.
