The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has reiterated that all crude oil exports adhere to global standards ensuring maximum transparency.
According to a statement from the Ministry, Iraqi crude is sold to reputable international companies with certified refineries under Free on Board (FOB) terms from Iraqi export terminals. The ministry categorically denies any claims regarding Iraq purchasing or re-exporting Iranian crude oil.
Regarding petroleum products, the Ministry said it announces available quantities for sale through formal channels, accepting bids from trusted local and international firms. All shipments are loaded transparently from Iraqi ports, with a strict policy against dealing with sanctioned companies or vessels. To enhance transparency, the Ministry will publicly disclose the names of all tankers loading petroleum products from Iraqi ports.
It added that Iraq uses global tracking platforms such as Kpler to ensure secure maritime transport, preventing any irregularities, and that any violations will result in strict measures against the involved buyers.
