IMF Comments on Iraqi Dinar Exchange Rate

By John Lee.

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) issued a statement on Wednesday (9th July) following the conclusion of its Article IV consultation with Iraq.

It projects an average exchange rate (dinar per US$) in each of 2025 and 2026 of 1300, the same as for 2024, adding:

"The CBI [Central Bank of Iraq] should be commended for the successful transition to the new trade finance system now fully managed by commercial banks through their CBRs, contributing to a reduction in the spread between the official and parallel market exchange rates."

You bankers are responsible for ALL of this abuse, you and the military industrial complex. No shame with you demonic scum bags! Iraq was as prosperous as the US ,until evil Clinton and the Bushes and O
